1) Leave a detailed itinerary with several family and friends at home. Also, put a copy of the itinerary in your suite case, in case you are separated from it. 2) At the beginning for a trip, designate an emergency meeting place at your destination. 3) Travelers should always have several copies of their passports, plane tickets and other important documents, including prescriptions. 4) Keep important medications with you whenever 5) If possible. DO NOT put prescriptions in your checked baggage. 6) Rent of take a cell phone. Keep in mind it might not work. 7) For cruise clients-you CAN NOT board a cruise ship with just a driver’s license. You must also have an original birth certificate or even better a passport.
