Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort Effective 9/22/05-10/2/05 The pool will be closed for replastering. Though there is no pool for this 10 day period, there is a public beach for swimming adjacent to the property and sunbathing area on property. Guests may also use the two pools at Outrigger Royal Sea Cliff.
Hilton Waikoloa Village Effective 10/19/05-4/06 Renovations are being done on the Palm Terrace Restaurant, Lower Lobby, Lagoon Tower, Kona Pool and Kohala Spa. The resort improvements are important and necessary for your clients to continue to experience a fresh product.
Waikoloa Beach Marriott Effective 4/10/05-12/30/05 Renovations to guest rooms and public areas will include closing one tower in order to renovate guest rooms and will bring room inventory down to approximately 275 rooms (545 total rooms). Aside from this reduced inventory the guest experience will be minimally impacted with most public area work tentatively schedule to begin following summer season.
Kauai
Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa Effective 7/15/05 The resort has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation of guestrooms and suites, meeting space and public areas. They will be changing their name to Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa.
Effective 9/12/05-9/20/05 The waterslide will be closed, with a inflatable waterslide set up for guests to enjoy.
Lanai
The Manele Bay Hotel Effective 8/15/05-9/15/05 and 1/16/05-1/06 The Manele Bay Hotel is closed for travel from, as they continue with property upgrades. The Hotel pool deck and Pool Restaurant will be under construction from September 16 to January 2006.
The Lodge at Koele Effective 1/2006-4/2006 The Lodge will be undergoing renovations. Included in the renovation are all guestrooms, expanding and enhancing the pool bar & grill, and constructing a new fitness center, and seven new suites, including a 3200 sq ft Presidential Suite. Renovations should be completed by April at which time the Lodge at Koele will be rebranded as a Four Seasons Hotel.
Maui
Embassy Vacation Resort, Ka'anapali Effective 4/18/05-5/22/05 and 8/15/05-12/18/05 The resort will be continuing their suite renovation project. All renovations will be isolated to one floor at any given time and that floor will be closed off to occupancy. Work hours will be conducted only between 9am and 4pm.
Kapalua Bay. a Renaissance Resort Effective 7/25/05 The components to the Resort Activities Program for the Kapalua Bay Hotel has changed to included the following: - Complimentary Valet Parking (Value: $12.00 daily)
- Sunset Appetizer in Lehua Lounge (Value: $9.95 daily)
- Kids Eat Free for Breakfast in Gardenia Court (11 years and under; up to 2 children per room - Value: $26.00 daily)
- Complimentary Internet access in the Business Center up to 15 minutes per room per day (Value: $18.00 (15 minutes)
- Free Local, Toll Free & Local Directory Assistance (Value: $1.00 per call)
- Kapalua Golf Discounts and Preferred Tee Times at all Kapalua Resort Golf Courses
Guests will be notified of the mandatory Resort Activities Program fee upon check-in to the Hotel. Resort Activities Program fee will be paid directly to the Hotel by the guest and is $15.00 per room, per day (subject to tax of 4.167%).
Lahaina Shores Beach Resort Effective 8/29/05-9/30/05 The lobby is undergoing a complete remodel. The remodel will compliment the old plantation style of architecture at Lahaina Shores. This work is being managed to minimize the number of working days. The bulk of the inconvenience will take place during the first week as old tile is removed. Additional staff will be on hand to assist with check-in.
Maui Coast Hotel Effective 8/1/05 The hotel has become a non-smoking hotel to meet the demands for non-smoking rooms. All smoking must be done outside. Each room has a private Lanai that can be used for smoking. A $75 cleaning fee will be applied to any rooms where evidence of smoking is present.
Mauna Lani Resort Effective 3/1/05 There is an increase in Rollaway charges of $50 per Rollaway, per day. Rollaways are not available in a queen and double-bedded rooms.
Outrigger Maui Eldorado Effective 9/1/05 Please be advised a $5 per day parking charge will be assessed at Outrigger Maui Eldorado.
Polo Beach Club Effective 4/1/05-4/1/06 There will be a remodel of one unit at Polo Beach Club. Work will be done between the hours of 9am and 4pm, Monday-Friday. There will not be any remodeling during weekends and Holidays. The unit will be completely gutted and re-built. Extreme noise (primarily April) will only be permitted between the hours of 10am-3pm and will always be posted 24 hours prior.
ResortQuest Paki Maui Effective 4/1/05 The resort will be adjusting their parking fee to USD $4.00 daily.
Sheraton Maui Resort Effective 9/6/05-10/21/05 Sheraton Maui Resort will begin to work on two repair projects involving a section of the pool and the main kitchen. A portion of the resort's 142-yard lagoon-style pool will be closed, the remainder of the pool, approximately 70-yards will remain open. The areas affected by the closure include the children's wading pool, slide, and the waterway surrounding the Lagoon Bar. Guests may experience noise and dust within the immediate vicinity of the repairs. Additionally there will be changes to restaurant operations in order to better serve guests. Keka'a Terrace restaurant will offer a buffet service for breakfast and dinner. Sundowner Bar (poolside) will offer hot grilled lunches and snacks. In-room dining will remain available from 6:30am to 11:00am for breakfast and from 5:30pm to 10:30pm for dinner. Keoki's Coffee Cart will continue to offer coffee, pastries, fresh fruit daily from 6:30am to 10:30am. Lagoon Bar will be closed during this time. Beverages, grilled specialties, and the resort's new Maui Wrap menu will be available daily at the Sundowner Bar from 10:30am to 7:00pm.
Wailea Elua Village Effective 4/20/05-8/25/05 The property is being re-roofed. There will be some noise throughout the property during this time but the majority of the noise will be limited to the actual building the crew will be working on. Guests will not be housed in any units that will be directly affected by the re-roofing project.

Oahu Halekulani Effective 4/1/05 In an ongoing effort to ensure the safety and comfort of their guests, all guestrooms at Halekulani will become non-smoking. Smoking will be permitted on guestroom balconies and lanais. Hawaii State Law also mandates no smoking in restaurants, bars and public areas with the exception of designated areas.
Hilton Hawaiian Village Effective 5/19/05-10/31/05 The Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa will embark on an exciting new era, they will break ground and begin construction of Waikiki's first free-standing resort wedding chapel. When completed, the " Ocean Crystal Chapel" will make the hotel an even more complete destination experience. Ground-breaking is expected mid May 2005 and will involve the area between the Tapa Pool and the Village Green, and extending over the current site of the "LeSportsac" retail store. As with any construction project, this one will be done in phases and work is expected to last through October 2005. Be assured that every step will be taken to ensure that the work will have minimal impact on all the valued guests and their hotel experience they have come to expect from the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
ResortQuest Pacific Monarch Effective 7/18/05-9/30/05 The lanai restoration project will take place during this period. To minimize the impact to our guest's experience, the property will take the following actions: - Work will only be done Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm.
- Lanais will be accessed via a powered scaffold from the exterior of the building, so workers do not need to enter the guests rooms.
- Work will be scheduled by columns, so the property will make all efforts to accommodate guests in rooms away from the work.
- Notices and construction schedules will be posted throughout the property.
- Letters of apology and chocolate covered macadamia nuts will be delivered to all affected units.
Effective 5/1/05 Please be advised that the parking fee will be adjusted to USD $12.00 daily.
ResortQuest at the Waikiki Banyan Effective 9/26/05-9/30/05 Please be advised that the jet spas and swimming pool will be closed briefly for maintenance work. No alternate pool or jet spa will be arranged during this period.
