Day 1 Cabo Pulmo. On arrival at Los Cabos International Airport you're transferred to the secluded East Cape village of Cabo Pulmo and a laid back beach resort on the Sea of Cortez. Settle in to your seaside paradise then celebrate your arrival with a festive welcome-to-Baja dinner.
Day 2 Cabo Pulmo-Sea of Cortez. Your first full Baja day is a fantastic kayaking and snorkeling adventure. Paddle crystal blue waters and watch for dolphins, manta rays and whales, then snorkel on the only living coral reef in Baja, described by Jacques Cousteau as "the aquarium of the world."
Day 3 Cabo Pulmo-Los Frailes. Today is free to enjoy as you like--hiking, biking, rock climbing, kayaking, wind surfing, snorkeling, fishing, scuba diving or just plain relaxing (some activities at additional cost). Los Frailes Bay is a snorkeling paradise where you can even swim with sea lions.
Day 4 San Jose del Cabo-Sierra Laguna. Today we hike the remote Sierra de la Laguna Mountains. We start with a guided tour of the sleepy mission settlement of Santiago. Then we travel mountain trails used by Indians for hundreds of years, hiking through wild canyons to secluded waterfalls and spring-fed pools where we swim surrounded by incredible rock formations.
Day 5 Cabo Real Natural Reserve-Cabo San Lucas. This morning we mountain bike through a fascinating coastal desert with awesome rock formations and unique plant life. This afternoon we cruise past famous Land's End Arch in search of whales who come to the Baja's warm waters each winter to mate and calve. We return in time to visit Cabo's arts and crafts market before dinner in downtown Cabo San Lucas.
Day 6 San Jose del Cabo-Todos Santos. Today we drive Baja's gorgeous Pacific coast to beautiful Los Cerritos beach. Swim, relax in the sun, stroll along the shore... and learn to surf! Lessons will get you catching your first waves today. After the beach, we visit the historic town of Todos Santos for a guided tour of its mission, cultural museum and art galleries. Tonight we celebrate with a farewell dinner in San Jose del Cabo.
Day 7 Flights Home. After breakfast we transfer to Los Cabos International Airport for return flights home.
