Stephen,
Thanks for the e-mail. Everything went just great. We had a great time at the Riu Palace and were glad we spent the extra $150 on a higher end place. Food was good and staff was very polite. We walked to a few of the others and were VERY GLAD we chose the RIU - just more clean and professional.
After a few nights of dinner at the Riu, we took a couple trips to downtown to eat at a fish and mexican hot spot. The last night we got Domino's Pizza!
Also your suggestion to spend the day in Cozumel was great. We went there on two separate days and rented mopeds on each - we drove up the coast and found some beaches completely remote! Great snorkeling as well.
Did not know we had an "on site" person from Lomas Travel helping us out with tours, etc. She was great. We went snorkeling in the caves and rented ATV's on two separate occasions - arranged through her (I think she gets a commission this way). She also helped us "upgrade" to a suite three days into our trip. The suite was great!
Anyhow, all in all, it was a great honeymoon with great weather. Thank you again for all your help!
