Situated in the rural heart of Northern Thailand, surrounded by rice fields and orchards, Lanna Farm preserves the best of Thai traditional ways, with a hint of luxury for the discerning guest seeking peace, natural beauty and tranquillity. Lanna Farm is located 100 kilometres north of Chiang Mai, three kilometres south-west of the small town of Phrao.
Ringed by tall mountains on three sides, in a small valley of emerald green rice fields and tropical orchards, the ambience is exotic and completely charming
The accommodation provides four large double bedrooms with en-suite toilet facilities, western toilets and hot showers. The beautiful furnishings and decorations are all in local style. Bedrooms open onto a dining room and lounge area of polished teak, facing west to catch the rays of the setting sun over the mountains. A staff of four and an English/French speaking manager are at your service at all times.
All meals are served, featuring the finest of Thai cuisine, and specialising in distinctive northern Thai food, served in the traditional 'Khantoke' style. Both Thai and American style breakfasts are available.
Day 1: CHIANG MAI – LANNA FARM (L, D)
Pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai and drive to the Hilltribe Museum located in the outskirts of the city to learn about the minorities’ way of life. Then proceed to visit the Orchid Farm and Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden.
Afterwards continue to Mae Ngad Dam and embark on a long tail boat for lunch at Raft Restaurant. Travel along the river by boat for 50 minutes to Ban Huay Sai and drive to visit Lisu Village. After visit, transfer for dinner at the beautiful teak house of Lanna Farm.

Day 2: LANNA FARM – CHIANG MAI (B, L)
After breakfast on the terrace where you can overview two hundred rais of rice field and beautiful mountain, start biking to visit Wat Tham Dork Kum where a huge reclining Buddha image is situated. Then continue biking around the beautiful rural country for agro-cultural tour with different farming such as rice, corn, chili, soybean, and seasonal vegetables. Afterwards return to Lanna Farm for lunch.
In the afternoon, time to experience your choice of activities around the farm; learn and try weaving, wickerwork of bamboo and rattan, fruit and vegetable carving or take a short Thai cooking lesson. Also time to have fun with our buffaloes down by the river before transfer to hotel in Chiang Mai or Chiang Mai Airport.
