•Holbox is home to over 150 species of birds. Of course, birdwatching is one of our more popular activities! ...especially the flamingos.
•The ocean here has a sandy bottom - great for swimming. And, beachcombers can find hundreds of fine shells along our wild coastline.
•Standard fishing trips, dolphin watching excursions and a short tour through the "river" which bisects Holbox island are available on request through various local guides.
•If you have the urge to go "off island" for a day, there's a small Mayan ruin near Chiquilá...
