Set off along the river like the former kings of Thailand and explore the ancient remains of Phimai, the centre of the ancient Khmer kingdom which dominated this part of Thailand.

Day 1: BANGKOK - AYUTHAYA - MEKHALA ( D )

14:00 pm : Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Mekhala
15:00 pm : The Mekhala cruises up the Chao Phya River alongside Wat Arun and The Grand Palace. Sunset over the paddy fields and stop over at Wat Kai Tia. Candlelit dinner will be served on deck. Overnight on board.

Day 2: MEKHALA - KORAT ( B, L )

Participate in Buddhist religious offering ceremony in the temple (optional) or breakfast on board while the Mekhala cruises to Bang Pa -In. Visit of the Summer Palace. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue drive to Korat to explore Phimai, one of the most important centers of the ancient Khmer Kingdom and its godlike Kings, whose rule once extended over this part of Thailand, marvel at its intricately carved stone lintels. Overnight at Sima Thani or Royal Princess Korat.

Day 3: KORAT - BANGKOK ( B, L )

American breakfast at hotel. Visit Khmer ruins at Phanom Rung and Muang Tham with lunch enroute. In the afternoon return to Bangkok. On the way back visit the temple of "Wat Klang Dong".
