: Respect for the culture and the natural environment are required of persons traveling to the Mosquitia. Traveling in this remote region is rudimentary, coarse and rustic. Travel conditions demand strength, tolerance, flexibility and understanding from the travellers. Lodging is also very basic, although we provide the best available in the region. La Ceiba is a good spot for extension programs to the Bay Islands of Honduras. Please ask for suggestions or see our vacation and dive packages.
