Early morning, join-in transfer from your hotel in Chiang Mai by local taxi (songtaew) to the starting point (Baan Huay Pong : about 1 hour drive) for your easy jungle walk to an Akha Village where you will meet a Hill tribe family and enjoy tea or soft drink.
Then cycle (mainly down hill) for about 8 km to the Mae Tang elephant camp. From here, you will enjoy a 1 hour to 1 and ? hour elephant ride through the beautiful mountain scenery.
Picnic lunch by the river Mae Tang…
After your traditional picnic at the elephant camp, embark on an inflatable raft for a 1 or 1 and 1/2 hour white water rafting on the Mae Tang River.
Then transfer to Lisu Lodge, enjoy a farewell drink and transfer back to Chiang Mai.
