| Day 1: PHUKET - KHAO SOK (L,D) In the morning, prepare for a fascinating trip on a converted Chinese junk throung the fissured limestone rocks of Phang Nga Bay. Board one of the small local boats to pass through the mangrove swamps to the mainland. Have lunch in a small riverside restaurant before visiting a limestone cave enshrining numerous Buddha images. Go on by car passing agricultural used areas to reach Khao Sok Rainforest, the largest national park in South Thailand. Start for a 1-hour boat ride (joint) across the huge water reservoir that covers almost 10% of the national park area. Pass towering limestone cliffs and mountains covered by lush vegetation to reach the floating bamboo huts, that are hidden in a small bay amidst tropical Rainforest. Communal toilet and bathroom are built on the shore. Overnight at the floating bamboo huts. Day 2: KHAO SOK NATIONAL PARK - KURABURI (B,L,D) After breakfast, begin with a trek, that leads along a creek to a cave deep in the forest (approx. 1.30 hours one way) with time to explore its subterranean river. On return, lunch is served on the rafts. Return in the afternoon return by boat to the dam. Pass through the impressive scenery of rugged mountains that offer beautiful sights over the valleys to far distant summits before reaching the plain areas along the coast. Evening arrive at to Kuraburi Greenview Resort, situated in a valley at the margins of the National Park. Day 3: KURABURI - PHUKET (B,L)
After breakfast visit a waterfall in the rainforest (approx. 15 minutes one way) and return to the coastal road to follow a trail along the cliffs through the forest to a remote bay with white sandy beach (approx. 30 minutes one way). Go on passing through former tin mining areas, have lunch and start a 1 hour trek on elephant back through the secondary vegetation. Tour ends at Phuket airport on hotel in Phuket
