Bali: Walking/Cooking/Yoga/Beach/Island Hopping



This trip was originally designed as a small group trip.I decided to leave it on the site as it can be modified ie most of the trip can be achieved, for 2 people. Oviously the pricing will be different..if this type of trip interests you let me know Thanks for your interest in our Bali small group departure.Our trip will take us to small local fruit nad vegetable markets, staying at eco lodges and a leading luxury hotel, walking in the rurual areas, experiencing Bali and Lombok, the Island next door,relaxing on wonderful beaches, visits to local temples, villages, a full day ar Sea, and a special Village prepared dinner just for us. Ours trips are structured with free tiem in the begining to get over jet lag, and so we balance free time with structured time,so that you may explore at your own pace.We have local bilingual guides and drivers with our unique flower reception upon arrival For those who wish to do some early morning exercise, we will do Yoga each morning, or we can run, or take early morning walks Hope you join us Dates 5th November to the 17th DAY 01 BALI ARRIVAL Arrive Bali,meet & Greet with flower garland and thence proceed to Nusa Dua Beach drive approximately 15 minuts. Rest of the day free to get over jet lag. Most International flights will arrive in the late PM DAY 02 FREE DAY Breakfast at hotel. All day free at own leisure to get over jet lag, enjoy the beach, have a massage(optional)go over to Kuta to shop..we can help those with lots of energy with constructive ideas of what to do. Rest up, as from tomorrow we are on the go DAY 03 H/D COOKING AT BALIFOOD WITH MARKET VISIT Breakfast at hotel 06.00 AM Market Visit 08.30 AM Breakfast 09.00 AM Start Cooking 02.00 PM Lunch Rest of day free DAY 04 FULLDAY MAGICAL BEASAKIH TOUR Breakfast at hotel Full day tour a visit to Besakih,the majestic temple complex located on the slopes of sacred Mt Agung. The drive up to the temple is proceded by a visit to Batubulan, to see performance of the colorful Barong and Keris dances, the dances vividly recount the heroic deeds drawn from the Hindu epic Mahabaratha . Then to Klungkung, to see a restored 17th century ancient courthouse of Kerta Gosa with its ceiling pictures. Then to Bukit Jambul, with its breathtaking scenery of the rice terraces. Lunch will be served enroute at a local restaurant DAY 05 NUSA DUA - PURI LUMBUNG MUNDUK Breakfast at hotel Transfer Nusa Dua Beach - Puri Lumbung Munduk includes sight seeing enroute visit : Tanah Lot, a temple which was built by one of the last priests to come from Java. Danghyang Nirartha, a man who is remembered for his successful efforts in strengthening the religious beliefs of the people. Also Kedaton,the holy forest where you will find thousand of tame monkeys, Pacung, with a picturesque rice-paddies terraced, and Candikuning, a colourful market selling vegetables, fruits,plants and exotic wild orchid, then to Bedugul mountain lake resort. Lunch will served enroute at local restaurant. Late afternoon arrive at Munduk this will give you free time to explre and enjoy this unique eco tourist lodge ie wander around the village,maybe go visit one of the local farms nearby, etc Overnight at Puri Lumbung cottage DAY 06 TREKKING TOUR AROUND TAMBLINGAN LAKE Breakfast at hotel This trekking tour will take the group around the village to observe farmers at work, coffee and clove plantation. Drive through rainforest to fantastic Tamblingan lake where we will start our walking tour Lunch enroute DAY 07 TRANSFER PURI LUMBUNG MUNDUK - UBUD Breakfast at hotel Free programm this are is renowed for its Fruit growing, and we will be visitng during the height of the fruit season. Transfe to Ubud and enroute a stop will be made at Mengwi,with its beutiful state temple. Free time in Ubud great shopping, and evening dancing. For your stay in Ubud we can pre arrange a whole day or half day Bali Spa experience (optional and extra) OPTIONAL EVENING DANCING UBUD There are almost nightly difference dance performances around Ubud and schedule of performance start at 07.30h PM. DAY 08 CLIMBING MOUNT BATUR For those who do not want to climb, we can arrange a whole or half day Spa experience(extra and optional) Breakfast at hotel At midnight we drive up to the foot of Mt Batur where we start to climb the top of Mt Batur.It's a 2 hour one way trip. On the top we may see the picturesque panorama of Lake Batur especially when the sun is rising up, really an unforgetable experience. Return down and thence breakfast at local restaurant. After breakfast return to hotel at around midday... we may stop and swim in the lake or hot springs on the way back 5.30 PM : DINNER AT PURI KERAMBITAN 1.5 hour drive each way This is it...an experience that the average traveller to Bali will not experience... a dinner to be remebered for years to come... see desription below, written out by my office in Bali Royal Dinner program at Puri Kerambitan 19.00h The Honourable guests arrive at Puri Anyar Kerambitan welcomed by : Mass of people handling torch in their hands simbolized top show the way to Puri Anyar Kerambitan ( Its a old Balinese Manner ) People with Okokan ( Big wooden cow bells ) hanging around their necks, demonStration in front of the guest... happily symbolized... Kerambitan is as an area of storage of rice in Bali. Women carrying Cane traditional flowers arrangement coming toward the guests, symbolizing a welcome.. say it in flowers. Mass of welcome dancers ( girls ) come and invite the guests to enter the palace. The guest arrive at first yard of the palace ofthe host Mr Oka who comes to meet his guests. He invites his guests to enter the main gate of the palace. 19.30h The honourable guests are kindly pleased to sit Welcome speech by Mr Oka Welcome drinks and crackers Soups served to the table The food procession for dinner are coming carrying by people followed by big orchestra. The guest are kindly invited to buffet dinner After dinner Joged Bumbung dance to be performed and the dancer invite the guests are invited to participate and dance 21.00h The honourable guests are kindly invited to see the other parts of the palace. 21.30 The honourable guests are kindly invited to proceed to the first yard of the palace to attend " Tektekan " drama. 22.30 The end of Tektekan dance is as the end of the whole dinner program. We drive back home. DAY 09 BALI DEPARTURE FOR LOMBOK Free program until time transferred to airport to catch flight to Lombok Upon arrival in Lombok to be met and direct transfer to hotel Our hotel is on the beach, with traditionally shaped Balinese architecture Rest of the day is free program DAY 10 LOMBOK FULL DAY TOUR Full day countryside tour visit : Gunungan banmboo craft centre, Karang Bayan Sasak people village and thence soft trekking from Karang Bayan to Nyiurbaya. This is known as a typical Lombok craft made of wild grass, visit Narmada kingly garden, visit Banyumelek pottery village( you can have the have chance to practice making pottery) and then Gunung Pengsong temple. Lunch will be served enroute at local restaurant DAY 11 LOMBOK FULL DAY TOUR Full day wonder of the sea... the sea tour. Drive to morning market at Lendang, Batur, Kedondong Village to see people making palm suger, then to Pusuk preservation and monkey forest. From Teluk Nare Harbour we sail to Gili Meno and then to Gili Trawangan islands, for swimming or snorkeling to see beautiful under sea garden. On the way back to hotel stop at Malimbu for beautiful beach view. Lunch will be served enroute at local restaurant. DAY 12 FREE DAY Breakfast at Hotel. All day free at own leisure DAY 13 LOMBOK DEPARTURE Free program until time transferred to airport to cath flight for next destination.
