| About hotels In the past year we received lots of requests for having the category or class of hotel marked on it. To serve your requirement of getting a general idea what class each hotel fits in, we now give you an indication as follows:
| Deluxe + | The top end in terms of accommodation with touch of 'class' and facilities, outstanding service |
| Deluxe | Luxury accommodation, high end services, wide range of facilities |
| First Class | Comfortable accommodation, good range of facilities, good service |
| Superior | Exceeds standard level, wider range of facilities and service |
| Standard | Standard accommodation and service. Limited facilities. Value for money. |
| Budget | Caters for simple needs, limited facilities and basic service |
| Boutique | Outstanding concept or design, personalized service, mainly small in size |
As you know, there is no official hotel category listing in Thailand, hence this is based on our pure judgment only. Taking into account are room condition, facilities, surroundings, maintenance at the time it was inspected, etc. we then rate them accordingly.
