Day 1 : Arrival Bangkok
Arrive at Bangkok International Airport. Welcome by our guide and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at hotel in Bangkok.
Day 2 : Bangkok (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Half Day City and Temples Tour(Join-in): Pick up from the hotel and drive through the center of Bangkok to visit three of the most gorgeous Buddhist temples in Bangkok. Wat Traimit with its impressive three-meter tall, 5 tons, solid gold Buddha image which gleams like no other gold artifact. Wat Pho, Bangkok's oldest and largest temple, which features the largest reclining Buddha and the Chedi of the kings. Wat Benchamabophit, the Marble Temple, a prime example of modern Thai architecture. After visiting the temples close off the tour with a shopping trip before returning to your hotel. Afternoon free at leisure. Accommodation at your hotel in Bangkok.
Day 3 : Depart Bangkok (B)

The RV River Kwai is a newly built colonial style river cruiser based on designs used by the original Irrawaddy Flotilla which was founded in Burma in 1865 and by 1920 was the largest privately owned fleet of ships in the world.The RV River Kwai opens up an entirely new area for river traveling in Kanchanaburi province,west of Bangkok.Land excursions are offered to visit attractions along the river.
Program I:Upstream – Depart every Monday
Monday Day 3:Bangkok –Kanchanaburi – Ban Kao ((L,D)
07:00 Depart from Bangkok by coach to Kanchanaburi via Nakorn Pathom.En-route short stops to visit Phra Pathom Chedi,the highest Chedi in Thailand and largest pagoda in Southeast Asia.Visit to Khao Noi Cave Temple located on the west bank of the River Kwai.
The monastery was constructed on a hill,decorated in the form of Chinese architecture and cultural art.From the top of the monastery observe the beautiful scenery of Kanchanaburi and its mountainous horizon.Also visit to Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sua)nearby,built in the form of Thai cultural art.The great Buddha image and pagoda placed in the temple are respected by all Buddhists.Continue to Kanchanaburi and visit the JEATH War Museum ,a realistic depiction of a prisoner of war (POW) camp with bamboo huts which give an inkling of the grim living conditions and atrocities endured. On display are tools,bombs,photographs,original sketches,testimonies,pictorials and physical memorabilia dating from World War II.
Afterwards visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Center Museum ,an interactive museum which provides a remarkable research and information centre dedicated to presenting the story of the Thailand-Burma Railway.
Embark RV River Kwai.Lunch on board while cruising on Kwai Noi River.Visit to Wat Tham Khaopoon,a Buddhist temple which served as a big camp of World War II.There is a middle cave containing stalactites and stalagmites and many remarkable Buddha images.Behind the temple enjoy a marvelous view down the valley of the River Kwai Noi.Proceed by coach to visit Somdet Phra Sri Nakharin Park,located in Kanchanaburi Agriculture College.It is known as "Stone Garden"covering 200 rai (96 acres),since most of its area is scattered with stones of different sizes and shapes,similar to animals.
Return to boat and continue cruising upriver.Dinner and overnight on board.
Tuesday Day 4 Kanchanaburi – Sai Yok ((B,L,D)
Breakfast on board.
Cruise upriver on the Kwai Noi River and continue by coach to visit "Prasat Muang Singh", historical park with Khmer architecture from the late Lopburi period,some 700-800 years ago.The extensive ruins of the temple beside the River Kwai Noi are a potent reminder of the vast expanse of the Khmer empire.The ancient border town of Muang Singh,"City of the Lions",was probably established as a trading post.
Continue by coach to Tha Kilen Train Station .
Take a 3rd class train to Tham Krasae passing over the long wooden viaduct.Arrive at Tham Krasae and visit to Krasae Cave situated on the bank of the Kwai Noi River,an excellent view point.The cavern houses a Buddha image.
Continue by coach and short stop at Sai Yok Elephant village located right on the river bank.
Lunch on board while cruising upriver. At leisure on the boat.Dinner and overnight on board. Wednesday
Day 5 Sai Yok – Sai Yok Yai – Ban Hin Dad ((B,L,D) Breakfast on board.
Walk uphill to visit Kaeng Lava Cave .From the landing a short trail leads to the cave which boasts admirable stone draperies and concretions in large chambers.The stalactites and stalagmites are a spectacular creation by nature.
Depart from River Kwai Resotel pier by coach to Hell Fire Pass ,a part of the Death Railway cut through the stone mountain.Trails lead to Hin Tok Bridge and Konyu Cutting where a plaque commemorates the ordeal of Australian and British POW's who undertook the hazardous work in precarious conditions at the aptly named pass.The memorial complex (Hin Lek Fai)is intended to honor the Allied Prisoners of War and conscripted people from India,Burma,Malaysia and other countries who died during construction of the railway,as well as all who suffered as a consequence of the hardships.

Continue by coach to visit Hin Dad Hot Spring ,formerly called Kui Mang.It was accidentally discovered by Japanese soldiers who were supervising the construction of the Death Railway.
The natural hot spring features two large pools and private baths.The mineral in the spring is believed to cure many diseases,e.g.beriberi (lack of vitamin B),arthritis,etc.Visit to Pha Tad Waterfall located in the western zone of Si Nakharin Dam National Park.It originates from a small stream called Huai Kui Mang.Pha Tad is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Kanchanaburi Province and flows into the Kwai Noi River.Return to the boat ."Farewell Dinner"and overnight on board.
Thursday Day 6 Ban Hin Dad – Kanchanaburi – Bangkok ((B,L)
Offering foods to monks (making merit in Buddhist style)at nearby temple.Breakfast on board. Disembark and return to Kanchanaburi by coach.Visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Center Museum ,an interactive museum which provides a remarkable research and information centre dedicated to presenting the story of the Thailand-Burma Railway.
Also,visit to the Donrak War Cemetery which contains the remains of 6,982 Allied prisoners of war who perished during the construction of the “Death Railway ”.
Continue to the world-famous bridge over the River Kwai.The sturdy Iron Bridge spanning the River Kwai Yai,which was a crucial part of the Death Railway,was built in some 16 months by Allied prisoners of war and Asian conscripts.The bridge was destroyed in Allied bombing raids towards the end of World War II and was later rebuilt by the Japanese as war reparations.
Lunch at River Kwai Restaurant,nearby the bridge.
Proceed to Bangkok. Arrive Bangkok and transfer to Bangkok International Airport for your flight to chiang Mai.

Thursday Day 3 Bangkok –Kanchanaburi – Thong Pha Phum – Ban Hin Dad ((L,D)
Depart from Bangkok by coach to Kanchanaburi via Nakorn Pathom.Short stop to visit the highest Chedi in Thailand called “Phra Pathom Chedi ” which is the largest pagoda in Southeast Asia. Proceed to Thong Pha Phum and visit Vachiralongkorn Dam .An immense lake created from the waters of three rivers harnessed by the hydroelectric dam which stretches to the far horizon.The thick jungle through which the railway line cut a swathe in recent times has been tamed and the surrounding fertile land now supports agricultural crops -sugar cane,tapioca,tobacco,maize and cotton.The admirable rugged scenery of the lake set against rolling hills on the distant horizon is ample reward for the long journey. Embark on RV River Kwai and cruise downstream on the Kwai Noi River.Dinner and overnight on board.

Saturday Day 5 Sai Yok – Ban Kao ((B,L,D)
Breakfast on board.

Sunday Day 6 Ban Kao – Kanchanaburi – Bangkok ((B,L)
Breakfast on board.

Finally,visit to the Donrak War Cemetery which contains the remains of 6,982 Allied prisoners of war who perished during the construction of the “Death Railway ”.Lunch on board while cruising downstream on Maekhlong river to the Maekhlong Dam at Tha Muang.Disembark and return to Bangkok by coach.
Arrive Bangkok and transfer to Bangkok Airport for your flight to Chiang Mai.
Day 6: Arrive Chiang Mai
Arrive at Chiang Mai and transfer from airport to the hotel in Chiang Mai. Accommodation at hotel in Chiang Mai.
Day 7: Chiang Mai (B) Breakfast at the hotel.
Half-Day Elephant At Work (SIC): Pick up from the hotel and drive to visit Mae Sa Elephant Camp located north of Chiang Mai and watch the demonstration of their powers by moving lumber and serving as a mode of transportation within the jungle area. On the way back, visit a beautiful orchid farm.
Handicraft Village (SIC): Visit the famous handicraft village and the factories at Borsang, usually called the Umbrella Village because of its many umbrella manufacturers. Practically the entire village consists of craft shops selling painted umbrellas, fans, silverware, straw handiwork, bamboo and teak, statuary, china, celadon and lacquer ware, along with common Chiang Mai and Northern Thai souvenirs, as well as quality items. Then we continue to Sankamphaeng District, which flourishes on silk and cotton weaving and observe how deft fingers transform bamboo, paper, silk and paint into beautiful umbrellas. Learn about the silk, woodcarving and making lacquer boxes and silverware.
After visit, transfer back to hotel.

Day 8: Depart Chiang Mai (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the scenic and mountainous north of Thailand with unspoiled hill tribe villages and beautiful waterfalls. Explore the traditions of the Lisu, Akha and Palong tribes with their unique culture and get a glimpse into Burma from Mae Sai before you will reach the legendary Golden Triangle.
Day 8: CHIANG MAI - LISU LODGE (L, D)
Drive to the mountain temple of Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, the most famous landmark of Chiang Mai and then proceed up the mountain passing the King's Winter Palace of Phuping.
Turn onto a rough dirt road to the Chang Khien Coffee Research Project and continue to the white Hmong village of Chang Khien to enjoy a quick cup of steaming mountain tea with a village family. A one- hour drive along a mountain ridge and then down to the Huay Thung Thao, lunch at an Orchid Farm.
Drive one hour and enjoy such activities as elephant, ox-cart riding and river bamboo rafting. Then proceed along a rough dirt road to the Akha village of Huay Pong and continue to Lisu Lodge to observe hill-tribe activities of Lisu and Akha people such as silverware & music instrument making, embroidering and organic gardening.
Then a village trip guided by one of the family heads to see a little of Lisu customs and culture. Dinner at the Lodge and enjoy Lisu music from one of Lisu banjo players and dance performed by village children. Overnight at Lisu Lodge.
Day 9: LISU LODGE - THA TON (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the lodge, leave Lisu Lodge north to Chiang Dao via Mae Malai. Arrive Chiang Dao and visit Chiang Dao caves. Then continue to Rim Doi Resort for lunch and after that drive (20 mins) to visit the small town of Arunothai on the Burmese border.
Next proceed over spectacular mountain roads to Doi Ang Khang (1.5 hrs), a large botanical research station where many temperate flowers and crops are grown at high altitude. After 30 minutes visit, continue to a very beautiful and traditional high altitude Palong village (Nor Lae). Visit these friendly people with their colorful costumes and then drive to Mae Kok River Village for dinner and overnight.
Day 10: THA TON - GOLDEN TRIANGLE (B, L)
After breakfast at the resort, depart from Thaton River View for Doi Mae Salong and visit the hill tribes and Chinese market (30 min). Visit the Akha Lorcha and the Yao village of Lao Sip.
Continue to Mae Chan on to Mae Sai, a border town to Myanmar and have lunch at a local restaurant in Mae Sai. (*Optional visit to Burma - the border town of Tachilek.) Proceed to the Golden Triangle for check-in at the Anantara Resort and Spa Golden Triangle.
Overnight at Anantara Resort and Spa Golden Triangle (former Baan Boran) or Imperial Golden Triangle.
Day 11: GOLDEN TRIANGLE - CHIANG RAI (B, L)
After breakfast, leave hotel to visit Hill tribe Museum. Then, proceed to the Golden Triangle and take 1.5 hrs long-tail boat trip to Chiang Khong, lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, drive to Chiang Rai and have a short city tour. Transfer to Chiang Rai airport for departure to Bangkok.
Day 11: Arrive Bangkok - Cha Am/ Hua Hin Pick up from Bangkok International Airport or hotel in Bangkok and transfer to Cha-am/ Hua Hin by air-conditioned van Accommodation at your hotel in Cha-am/ Hua Hin.
Day 12: Cha Am/ Hua Hin (B) Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. Accommodation at your hotel in Cha-am/ Hua Hin.
Day 13: Cha Am/ Hua Hin (B) Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. Accommodation at your hotel in Cha-am/ Hua Hin.
Day 14: Depart Cha Am/ Hua Hin (B)
